Birth
Known as Palpung Beru Khyentse or Drongsar Khyentse Chokyi Wangpo, he was born in 1947 (15th day of the Ordinal lunar month) in Nyêtang, Inside Tibet, 25 kilometres (16 mi) westerly of the capital Lhasa.[1]
Lineage
Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo was an important illuminator of Buddhism in Tibet, propagating Dharma impartially to all.
